Parkfield House is within walking distance (3/4 mile) of the town centre of Wrexham with its public house, train station and café and supermarkets. The town of Wrexham is close by (1 miles) with a full range of community facilities, including sport and leisure. The beautiful town of Llangollen is only a short drive away (9 miles) with the larger town of Chester easily accessible.
The Gardens
A large patio is ideal for outdoor activities, including barbecues and games. The grounds themselves are extensive and provide opportunities for those individuals who express an interest in gardening. There are many beautiful walks surrounding Parkfield House which make it a truly peaceful environment. There is also a large laundry room with two washing machines and one tumble dryer, one for normal clothes and one for slues.
Parkfield House also has a large on-site day service which provides an area to benchmark each patient’s ability to allow an individualised treatment plan to be developed in the areas of education and vocation. The aim of the service is to allow a patient to develop new skills in a safe and structured environment before transferring those skills into other areas such as college courses and/or work placements. This is always done on a planned basis and when this occurs, the patients in attendance are always supervised by staff from the home.

We provide a rehabilitation service to complex care patients who might be leaving acute, locked Rehabilitation or secure services or step-down services.
We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our care can live safe, happy and fulfilled lives.
Residential support is offered to people living with complex and substantial support needs that may find it challenging to live independently on their own without dedicated support.
